The American Whitewater Jetboat Association (AWJA)

Formed in 1997 by racers, this organizations goal is to promote the sport of whitewater jetboat racing,
ensure safe and orderly races, keep US stats, generate and maintain the US rule set, provide a direct conduit between racers and promoters,
and generally facilitate the orderly growth of the sport.
